WORKSHOP: Wheel of the Year – The Fires of Beltane, learning about the Pagan calendar with Rebecca Beattie
Saturday 2nd May, 12:15 – 14:15, The Quaker Meeting House, Ashburton
Join practitioner and scholar Rebecca Beattie for a soulful celebration of Beltane, the ancient festival marking the start of summer. As days get longer, and the wheel of the year turns, we’ll come together to honour the fire and fertility of the season, both in the land and in our lives.
In this reflective and hands-on workshop, we will:
- Explore the rich history and folklore of Beltane
- Contemplate our personal potential, from intentions sown earlier in the year to lessons learned
- Craft our own herbal smudge sticks using fresh, fragrant herbs to take home and use in your own seasonal rituals
- Share in a gentle group ritual, weaving together gratitude, intention, and community
