The Dewerstone – a mindful walk

Walk: The Dewerstone – mindfulness with Hannah Durdin and Helen Bruce

Friday 1st May, 11:00 – 14:00, Cadover Bridge Car Park, FREE BUT BOOKING ESSENTIAL

A reflective (and phone-free) walk with Hannah Durdin of Moorland Guides and Helen Bruce from the Dartmoor Preservation Association.

Join Hannah from Moorland Guides and Helen from the DPA for a mindfulness walk around this stunning area of the moors. This phone-free walk will encourage us to strip back to basics and enjoy the best of Dartmoor, free from distraction and in good company. We’ll explore the temperate rainforest along the river, enjoying some moments of meditative silent walking before crossing the bridge and climbing to the top of the monumental Dewerstone Rock to take in the breathtaking views across the valley. On our return, we’ll encounter evidence of our ancestors and will take some time to reflect in individual sit spots before returning to the car park.

This is a free walk supported by our lead partner, The Dartmoor Preservation Association, but you must have a ticket which you can book in advance.
