Travel disruption: :The main road into Ashburton from the Exeter direction is closed due to roadworks. If you are driving, then you need to use the PEARTREE EXIT off the A38; ignore any confusing ‘road closed’ signs, you can drive straight into the town to the main car park from the Pear Tree exit. Do NOT TRY AND ENTER TOWN VIA THE LINHAY EXIT.
If you’re coming by bus, (services) 38, 88, 172 and 672, unfortunately the buses aren’t coming into the centre of town as usual. You can get off either at East End Terrace (the Exeter end of town) or Peartree (the Plymouth end of town). Peartree is slightly closer to the town centre – 0.6 miles and 12 minutes walk. East End Terrace is 0.8 miles, or 8 minutes walk.
