Rock Idols @ High Moorland Visitor Centre
Exhibition of prints by Alex Murdin 01/04/25 – 15/06/25
To mark the publication of the Rock Idols book on the 1st of April an exhibition of original prints by Alex Murdin will be on show at the Dartmoor National Park at the Visitor Centre in Princetown, 1st April to the 15th June 2025.
On display will be 32 prints by @lithicality from the book showing tors from across Dartmoor that have beguiled, intrigued and spoken to people over thousands of years. Accompanied by photos from a years’ worth of encounters with these tors by Alex Murdin and Sophie Pierce. The artworks try to capture something of the tors as living rock, the inspiration for many megalithic monuments across Dartmoor and artists through the ages.
