Ashburton Artists & Artisans Open Studios 2025
Friday 30/05/25 – Sunday 01/06/25, around Ashburton, Field System, Ashburton Arts Centre
Visit local artists and artisans on a walking trail around the moorland town of Ashburton.
After a triumphant first year, the Ashburton Art Trail is back!
Instigated by Sylvie Nicholls, potter and jeweller living in Ashburton, Ashburton Artists and Artisans was created to promote artists and makers in Ashburton through group exhibitions, markets, and events. And what a success it has been.
We are looking forward to welcoming back artists and artisans from last years trail along with some wonderful new creatives. All 29 of those taking part are rooted in the culture of Dartmoor where the vibrant town of Ashburton is nestled. This year our trail will start at The Field System (West St, Ashburton) where you can get your own free map and take a glimpse of each exhibitor’s work before heading to the exhibits of your choice.
Plan your walk, drive or cycle in and around our town; stumble upon painters, ceramicists, printmakers, textile artists, jewellers, photographers, sculptors and those who defy definition in their studios, homes and shops.
